YOGA
Hatha yoga is an ancient holistic system of health and self- development that begins with the body as a tangible way to affect all aspects of our being. It is a physical & mental science that for many that builds strength with confidence, flexibility with balance, and fosters inner peace and contentment. The discipline of yoga includes physical postures, breath practices, meditation, and self study as the tools. It is a way of life that relaxes the mind, body, and breath, and spirit. The gift of yoga is the ability to look inside.

“VINYASA, POWER, DYNAMIC YOGA” are all names referring to both the linking of postures together in a progression that is dynamic and physically demanding. Students are taught to use a strong breathing technique throughout their practice. Meditation is experienced through movement. (ideal for people who find a traditional meditation practice difficult or unappealing.
Our style of yoga is hot Hatha yoga which includes physical postures and breath practices in a heated room. We teach yoga in a small group setting and/or in addition to your pilates fitness session.
